How TracStor compares
We checked eight home inventory apps against their own websites, help pages and app store listings on October 7, 2026. Here's where TracStor is different, and where another app might suit you better.
What only TracStor does, of the apps we checked
Knows the box in the stack
Records each tote's row and position and shows a picture of the stack with it pinned: “bottom row, 4th from the left”. No other app we checked tracks stack positions. How stacks work
Prints straight to a label printer
Sends labels from the phone to a $25 Bluetooth thermal printer, set up automatically. The others we checked make PDFs or use AirPrint, or don't say how they print.
Private and insurance-ready on Android
No account, your inventory stays on your phone, and it makes an insurance PDF with values, serial numbers and receipts. On Android, no other app we checked does all three. The report
Floor plans with areas
Draw a room, block out areas, tap an area and tap its bins. The only other floor plans we found are a paid add-on for restoration contractors and an Apple-only 3D room scan.
Helps you sell on Facebook Marketplace
Writes the listing, puts the photos first and opens Facebook ready to paste, then tracks the sale. How it works
Every way to label a bin
QR labels, a six-character code you can write on tape, NFC tags it writes itself, and barcodes already on the box. Of the apps we checked, only TracStor and ClutterBuddy document both QR and NFC on Android.
Side by side
“—” means the app's own website, help pages and store listing didn't mention it on October 7, 2026; it may still exist. Prices are as listed that day, in US dollars.
