Maple St host›Garage shelf B›Your tote 4
Store 5 to 25 bins down the street. Pay for the bins, not the room.
TracStor micro storage is for the overflow: holiday totes, camping gear, the kids' outgrown clothes. Keep a handful of labeled bins in a vetted space a few minutes from home, see what's in every one from the app, and get any bin back when you need it.
Coming soon. We're opening neighborhoods where enough people sign up.
Micro storage›Why
Storage units are sized for rooms. Most people need a shelf.
The smallest common self-storage unit is 5 × 5 feet. Twenty-five standard totes fit in one with room to spare, so if you only have eight, you pay for the empty space, and drive across town to reach them.
What a storage unit costs per bin
$7.63 per bin, per month for a $61 unit holding 8 bins.
With micro storage you pay per bin, so a few bins cost a few bins' worth. Pricing will be announced when the first neighborhoods open.
Micro storage›How it works
Pack it, label it, park it nearby, get it back.
Pack and label
Use standard lidded totes. Add each one to TracStor with photos and contents, and stick on its QR label or NFC tag. You'll always know what's inside without opening it.
Pick a spot nearby
Choose a vetted host or neighborhood micro-hub a few minutes from home: a dry garage shelf, a basement corner, a locker room.
Drop off
Bring your sealed bins in a scheduled window. The host scans each one in with TracStor, and you get a confirmation with the shelf it's on.
Ask for one back
Search “Where are the Christmas lights?”, see it's in tote 4 at your host, and book a pickup window. The host scans it out. Bring it back the same way.
Micro storage›Trust
Your bins stay sealed. Every move is on record.
Hosts store bins, they don't open them. TracStor records each scan in and out with the time and place, and you can see your bins' status from the app at any time.
- Sealed bins
- Lidded totes with your TracStor label; the contents list and photos live only in your app.
- Scan in, scan out
- Every drop-off and pickup is scanned and time-stamped, so you know exactly when a bin moved.
- Vetted spaces
- Dry, secure spaces close to home, with access windows agreed up front.
- Not allowed
- Anything perishable, flammable, hazardous, illegal or living. Valuables and documents are best kept at home.

I have space to share
An empty garage shelf or a dry basement corner can hold a neighbor's sealed bins. You set the pickup windows, scan bins in and out with TracStor, and get paid each month for the bins you hold.
- Store sealed bins; you never handle what's inside
- Choose how many bins and when people can come by
- Every scan in and out is recorded for both of you

Questions
How is this different from a storage unit?
You pay for the bins you store instead of a whole room, they're a few minutes from home instead of across town, and TracStor tells you what's in each one before you go get it.
What kind of bins can I use?
Standard lidded plastic totes up to about 27 gallons, the kind sold at any hardware store. Each needs a TracStor label or NFC tag so it can be scanned in and out.
How much will it cost?
Pricing is per bin, per month, and will be announced when the first neighborhoods open. The goal is to cost well under what a storage unit costs per bin for people storing 5 to 25 bins.
Where will it be available?
We're opening neighborhoods where enough people sign up to store bins and enough hosts offer space. Join the waitlist with your ZIP code to count yours.
Do I need the TracStor app?
Yes. The app is how you label bins, record what's in them, see where they're stored and book pickups. It's free during early access.
